Almond Tarts

1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour

Mix and fill tiny tart pans half full.

Filling
1 1/2 cups almond paste
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs

Mix and put on top of each tart cup.
Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
Makes about 3 dozen tarts.
Can decorate on top with 3 tiny red frosting berries
and 2 tiny green frosting leaves for Christmas.
Or can decorate on top with slivered almonds.
