2 POUND RECIPE
1-1/3 cups water
2 TBLsp olive or cooking oil
4 cups bread flour
1 teaspoon salt
1-1/4 tsp yeast
Mix in bread machine on dough cycle. When complete, remove dough. Punch down. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes. Divide dough in two parts and roll each on lightly floured surface until desired size. Put onto 2 greased pans, building up edges slightly. Prick with a fork. Do not let rise any longer. Bake in 400 degree oven for about 15 minutes until light brown. Then add desired toppings and bake for about 15 more minutes until toppings are bubbly.
1-1/2 POUND RECIPE
1 cup water
4 teaspoons olive oil or cooking oil
3 cups bread flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. yeast
Same directions, it just makes a thinner crust when divided in two--decrease cooking time and increase oven temp to 425 degrees. Or a very thick crust if not divided--increase cooking time and decrease temp to about 375 degrees.
