2 (8 oz) pkgs. cream cheese
1 (8 oz) pkg. shredded cheddar cheese
2 TBLsp minced onion
1 TBLsp lemon juice
2 TBLsp Worcestershire sauce
Sprinkle of garlic salt
2 cups crushed pecans
Soften cheeses and cream them together. Add the remaining ingredients, except nuts, and blend well. Chill. Then roll into a ball. Roll in crushed pecans. Refrigerate until well chilled and serve with crackers.
This recipe makes a HUGE cheese ball. I've often cut it in half. And when I don't have time to let the cheeses chill in the fridge before serving, I've just skipped on the pecans or mixed them right into the dip. Always a big hit at parties!
