Chocolate Fondue


1/2 cup half-and-half cream
1-2 TBLsp sugar
1 TBLsp butter
4 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine the cream, sugar and butter in a saucepan and bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add chocolate. Let it stand for one minute, then whisk until it is smooth. Whisk in the vanilla, and serve in a dessert fondue pot.

Common foods to dip:
strawberries
bananas
fresh pineapple
sponge or angelfood cake
