turkey or chicken biscuit stew

1/3 C. chopped onion
1/4 C. Butter
1/3 C. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 C. cubed turkey or chicken
1 can (10 1/2 oz) chicken or turkey broth
3/4 C. milk
2 C. mixed veg. (i.e. peas, carrots, corn. Frozen is good)
1 tube of buttermilk biscuits or crescents

In a 10 inch oven proof skillet, saute onion in butter til tender. Stir in flour, salt, pepper until smooth. Gradually add broth and milk. Cook, stirring constantly until thick and bubbly. Add turkey and veggies. Heat through. Pour into a casserole baking dish. Separate biscuits and arrange over stew or roll crescent rolls out on top. Bake @ 375 for 20-25 min. until golden brown.
